Version 1.0 · Effective date: 2026-07-17 · Last updated: 2026-07-17
This Privacy Policy explains how T&J Małgorzata Ośródka (operating under the brand “VelociBit”) (“we”, “us”) processes personal data of visitors to this website (the “Website”).
For the Website, we are the data controller. Our full contact and registration details are in §9 below.
Contact for privacy matters: support@velocibit.io.
When you use our contact form or email us, we process the data you provide:
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Your name | Address you correctly and respond | Art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interest in handling enquiries; and/or Art. 6(1)(b) steps prior to a contract |
| Your email address | Reply to you | Art. 6(1)(f) / Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Your company (optional) and subject | Route and understand your enquiry | Art. 6(1)(f) / Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Message content and any details you include | Understand and answer your enquiry | Art. 6(1)(f) / Art. 6(1)(b) |
Providing this data is voluntary, but without it we cannot respond to your enquiry.
Our hosting provider may automatically process standard technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, timestamps) to deliver and secure the Website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interest in a secure, functioning site.
This Website does not set cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, or other tracking technologies. Fonts and all other assets are served from this Website itself (self-hosted), so no third party receives your data simply because a page loads. Because we use no non-essential cookies or trackers, we do not display a cookie-consent banner. Submitting the contact form transmits your details to Formspree (see §2) — but only when you choose to submit, and it sets no cookies.
We share personal data only with service providers acting as our processors, and only as needed to run the Website:
| Recipient | Role | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Formspree (Formspree, Inc.) | Contact-form processing & delivery | US-based; personal data you submit is transmitted through Formspree to reach us. See §3. |
| OVHcloud (OVH SAS) | Website hosting / server logs | Hosted in the EU (France) — data stays within the EEA. |
| OVHcloud (OVH SAS) | Receiving and storing enquiry emails | Email hosting in the EU (France) — data stays within the EEA. |
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with other third parties except where required by law.
Some processors (e.g. Formspree) may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards — typically the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) — with that provider. In our case this applies to Formspree; our hosting and email provider (OVHcloud) keeps data within the EEA.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is ever based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@velocibit.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling producing legal or similarly significant effects (Art. 22 GDPR) in connection with the Website.
We are established in the European Union (Poland). We are therefore not required to appoint an EU representative (Art. 27 GDPR), and given the limited scale of our processing we are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (Art. 37 GDPR).
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
